What to Expect

Play across 4 exciting missions using state-of-the-art laser tag weapons that fire safe infra-red beams. There is no pain, no mess and no need to pay for ammo.

Players wear sensors that detect hits, while high-tech electronics and themed props create immersive gameplay including 50 vs 50, Rescue the Flag, Domination and a Battle Royale finale.

Open sessions run at weekends, subject to availability, and allow individual players, small groups and families to play alongside other like-minded groups.

We also have smaller laser tag weapons available, so younger players can join in from age 6+. For younger participants, we recommend that older family members play too.

Good to know

  • Saturday / Sunday sessions only, subject to availability
  • It’s outdoors on an astro turf surface, we play in all weathers (we are sure the kids prefer playing in the rain!!) so please dress for the Scottish weather!
  • We do not allow adult only groups (ages 14+) to play in these sessions – it must be mixed ages with a focus on fun.
  • For groups with participants under 16, a responsible adult (18+) must remain on site for the duration of the session.
  • Maximum 30–40 players per session depending on staffing and peak periods (Open sessions require a minimum of 8 players. If this number is not reached, we will contact you in advance to discuss alternative options)
  • Please note: No food may be brought into the karting centre, including birthday cake – we have the combat party room available on a first come basis allowing the option of a birthday cake celebration / pizza or external food (McDonalds always a favourite!).

Party Room Terms

  • The room is available for 45 minutes after the combat event.
  • Xtreme Karting supplies the room only unless the pizza package is booked.
  • If the room is booked, you may bring your own party food or external food and drinks.
  • If the party room is not reserved, no food may be brought into the karting centre itself, including birthday cake.
  • Adult supervision of the room must be maintained throughout, if any inappropriate behaviour is observed then Xtreme Karting reserves the right to cancel the event booking without refund and close the cabin
  • No additional room decorations are permitted.
  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to book the room.
