Xtreme Karting specialise in ensuring a fun, exciting race event experience, with options for exclusive and open race events (open race events available on Saturdays subject to availability). Please note min numbers may be required at peak periods for an exclusive GP event eg 15 participants Friday-Sunday
- Grand Prix Race Format:
- Full safety briefing
- 7 min Timed practice session for all drivers
- Two separate 7 min Timed Qualifiers for each driver, featuring grid start, points awarded dependent on finishing positions / fastest lap.
- Progression to Finals with grid position determined by points awarded in qualifiers
- 10min Final Race featuring Grid Start for all drivers
- Race results will be emailed immediately afterwards with the all important lap times!

We are happy to confirm that all prebooked sessions can be rescheduled or refunded (numbers can be reduced as long as the minimum number of drivers is maintained for exclusive events) up to 24 hours in advance of the booking. We believe this policy to be very fair, and is strictly enforced.
Hygiene Pack : All customers racing at XK must wear a hygiene pack (balaclavas and gloves), available for pre-purchase online at a discounted price of £3pp (£4pp if purchased in centre). If you already previously purchased a hygiene pack please reuse!
NEW Reservation Deposit : you are now able to reserve a date with a refundable £100 deposit! NB The full balance must be paid a maximum of 7 days from the date of booking, or if applicable a minimum of 10 days before the event date. If payment is not received Xtreme Karting reserves the right to cancel the event and refund the deposit.

| Open X-Race at Xtreme Karting Edinburgh – duration of the event approx 2 hours: Open Grand Prix Race Event’s are held Saturday’s at 10am / Midday (subject to availability)to allow smaller groups of drivers to experience the thrill of racing, and hopefully the thrill of winning! Please don’t be put off by the fact it is an open event, a lot of the fun with these events is the banter off track as much as on it, watching friends race and the resulting “banter” makes the event! NB: You may be racing with other drivers throughout the event, larger groups may be split across different practice / qualifying sessions / finals, spaces are sold on an individual basis.
