🏎️ Key benefit: After successfully completing two separate Race School sessions, junior drivers can progress into our Family 2 x 10 min Race Experience Sessions (normally age 10+) at Falkirk.

Please note: Race School is available at XK Falkirk only and does not qualify junior drivers to race at XK Edinburgh, where the minimum age is 12 and the minimum height is 1.5m.

What Happens in a Race School Session?

Race School gives junior drivers an exciting introduction to karting, with coaching across two timed sessions on track during each visit:

• An introductory 7-minute session
• A longer 10-minute on-track session
• Kart safety and confidence building
• Racing lines, overtaking and braking techniques
• Cornering skills and performance coaching from Xtreme Karting instructors

Watch their lap times come down as their technique improves.

After Completing Race School

After completing a Race School sessions, junior drivers will receive an Xtreme Karting Training Certificate, collect two separate Race School Certificates and they can progress onto racing in our Family 2 x 10 min Race Experience Sessions at XK Falkirk – we hope the parents won’t be too embarrassed when they are overtaken….🏎️🏎️

Important Information

• Junior drivers must be at least 4 ft 2 in tall and able to operate the pedals comfortably.
• If your child looks younger, please bring ID such as a passport or birth certificate.
• If you have any concerns about height or fit, please contact us or pop in to check they are comfortable in a kart.
• Hygiene pack required: balaclava and gloves are required for Race School and Race Experience Sessions – Pre-order online for £3pp or purchase in centre for £4pp.
• If you already have a hygiene pack, please bring it and reuse it.
