We’ve tried to answer some of our most commonly asked questions below!
However, if you need anything else, please feel free to contact us.

No problem — most of our drivers are.
Our sessions are designed for complete beginners through to experienced racers, with everything you need to get started:
- Full safety and driving briefing with staff on hand to answer any questions

We’ll make sure you feel comfortable, in control, and ready to enjoy the race from your very first lap.

Safety First
Is It Safe?
Over 22 years of excellent safety performance — safety is at the heart of everything we do.
Karting is a fast-paced motorsport, but we take every step possible to ensure a controlled and professionally managed environment:
- Full NKA safety briefing before every session
- Experienced track marshals and management team
- Karts built to strict TÜV safety standards
- Daily maintenance checks on all karts
- Advanced ventilation systems at Falkirk
- Automatic safety control systems at Edinburgh after recent upgrade
- Tracks and barriers designed to strict safety guidelines
We combine thrill with responsibility, so you can focus on enjoying the experience.
Who Can Race?
If you’re fit, ready for fun, and meet the minimum age — you’re good to go.
- No driving licence required
- Suitable for beginners and experienced drivers
- Some medical conditions may prevent participation — please seek medical advice if unsure
Body size & comfort: If you have any concerns about height, weight, or fit, we recommend visiting the centre before booking. As a guide, drivers over 18 stone may wish to check comfort first, but fit can vary depending on body shape/height.
Our team will be happy to help you find the best option.

Great for Groups
Not Everyone Wants to Race?
No problem — we can still help make it a great day out.
- Spectators are welcome to watch and cheer on the winners
- We can offer alternative activities alongside karting
- Ideal for mixed groups, celebrations and team events
Ask us about adding Escape Experiences, Combat Laser Tag or other activities to your visit.

What Should I Wear?
Keep it simple and comfortable:
- Trainers (no sandals or heels)
- Casual clothing
- Long hair must be tied back
Headwear: Hijabs or headscarves must be removed and a balaclava worn. We can provide a private space for this.
We provide: race suits, helmets and gloves.
Hygiene packs: Required when using our helmets, available for £3pp online or £4pp in centre. If you already have one, please bring it and reuse it.
Own helmet? Yes — as long as it is full face helmet with a visor and meets UK motorcycle helmet standards. Recording devices/cameras and any helmet mounts are not permitted.
